New Delhi: Expressing its displeasure over the slow probe, the Supreme Court on Thursday gave five days to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to submit a statement on missing coal files.
The Centre in its response assured the apex court that it will give all files in two weeks after the CBI gives a statement on the issue.
The court went a step ahead and said that a FIR should be filed and a probe be conducted by the CBI if the government fails to trace the missing miles.
